With our theme “It’s Time”, we wanted to not only honor the 25th anniversary of our campus but also celebrate our individual growth throughout high school. Our recurring usage of triangles in the yearbook signified our growth through highs and lows, from unprecedented winter floods to record-breaking academic awards. We used a vibrant color palette and photo cutouts to symbolize the lively and energetic nature of our year as we embraced new opportunities, challenges, and change with an open mind. Our repeater compared the past memories of the school to the current state, showing the development and progress we have made as a community and as individuals.
As the Editor-in-Chief, I led the creative vision for the 2022-2023 book “It’s TIME”. This included developing the theme, concept, and overall design by directing and editing spread layouts and content for all 252 pages. A critical part of this leadership role was ensuring day-to-day execution in meeting deadlines, organizing team-building events, maintaining relationships with our suppliers, and fundraising. In addition to my leadership role, I also actively photographed, wrote, and illustrated for the yearbook in addition to my leadership and editing roles.
